They were stray, starving and severely malnourished, with their growth stunted and parasites taking what little energy they had. We brought them home together, without knowing yet how different their paths to feeling safe would be.

Chapter 02 · Learning trust

Same beginning, two very different characters

HelaThe little sister was tiny but fearless. Within days, she let us hold her and became the first to explore, climb and dare.

GinkgoThe big brother was terrified of human hands. Earning enough trust to touch him took a month; every small step mattered.

Chapter 03 · Home

From surviving outside to owning the place

Today they are healthy, curious and completely at home. Their days are spent chasing butterflies and snails, racing around the garden, then reclaiming the best seat in the house. The rescue story quietly became a family story.
